The Coordinators Group wrote this final report for the WVPCA QI Project, Docs Need SOCs. But many others contributed to the work that went into it. First and foremost, we thank the members of the workgroups for their participation in the several steps of the SOC process, for their attendance at conference calls and other meetings, and for their many individual contributions large and small. Thanks to Jill Hutchinson, Executive Director of the WVPCA and her aide Pam Moore, especially for comments and distribution in the final stages of the project. Thanks to Laura Warren, our summer 1997 RHEP student intern, to George Shaler, and to NRHA Board member Mike South for our cover image. Special thanks to Karen McNeely for her patient and skillful work on graphics, formatting, and word processing and to all her teammates in the New River billing department who kept things going without her. Finally, thanks to Kelly Harvey and Nancy Johnson, who accomplished the printing and assembly of the final document for distribution to all the WVPCA member centers.

As the Coordinators Group, we feel good about the process and this product. But the proof will be in the outcomes.
