DIRECTIONS to Kingwood Student Apartment

 

From Morgantown/Saberton Exit, turn onto WV 7-Kingwood Pike towards Kingwood.  Proceed to the intersection of WV 7 and Rt. 26, in Kingwood (approximately 26 miles).  Turn right onto Rt. 26/Kingston Road (toward Tunnelton).  Proceed approximately ½ mile and turn right into the first driveway after you pass the State Police Office.   The student apartment, located at 209 Kingston Road, Apt. 1, is the first house on your left.   When you are facing the house, apartment 1 is on your left.

 

The apartment is furnished and includes: living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath.  Students must provide their own towels, sheets, blankets and personal items.  There is a computer with cable internet.  Telephone and TV cable are not provided.  Garbage pick-up is Tuesday morning.  Trash must be placed in container at the foot of the driveway on Monday evening, or early Tuesday morning.

 

The landlords, Justin and Kelly Kuriliko reside in the basement apartment.  Please contact them if there are any maintenance issues.

DIRECTIONS TO ST. JOSEPH’S HOSPITAL and ELKINS STUDENT HOUSING:

 

Students staying in the Elkins RHEP student house must pick-up the student house key at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Cashier’s Office) in Buckhannon.   From I - 79 take exit 99, then 33 E towards Elkins.  Travel approximately 12 miles.  Take the first Buckhannon Exit (12 Main Street Exit) turn right on Rt. 33/Main Street.  Travel about ¼ mile.  Make a sharp right, immediately after passing St. Joseph’s Physician Office Center (POC), onto Amalia Drive.  Proceed uphill to the hospital and enter St. Joseph’s Main Entrance.  From the main entrance, cross to the left side of the lobby and take the hallway to your right.  The Cashier’s office is the first door on your right.  IF the Cashier’s Office is closed, go to the ER/Express Care Registration Desk and ask them to page the Cashier.

 

From St. Joseph’s Hospital, return to the bottom of the hill and merge right onto Main Street. At the first traffic light turn left onto Rt. 20 N.  Proceed to Rt. 33 (Corridor H). Turn right onto Rt. 33 E and travel approximately 24 miles to the Downtown Elkins exit.  At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right on 219 S to Elkins. At the Junction 219/92/33 turn left on Randolph Ave. (Rt. 33).  Stay in the left lane

 

The Elkins student house is a 1 1/2 story house located on 1 College Street just off of Randolph Avenue behind the car wash. Please note there is no left turn at the light located at the corner of Randolph Ave (33) and College St.!  Proceed 1 block on Randolph Ave.  At the statue of the bronze horse, turn left on Sycamore St. then turn left again on Hemlock St.  At the end of Hemlock St. turn right onto College St. The student house is the first house on your right.

 

PARKING: There is room for 1-2 cars in the driveway, off of Hemlock St.  There is also parking in front of the house for 3-4 cars.  If additional parking is needed you may park on the grass to the left of the house. 

 

HOUSE (insider basics): 

4 bedrooms (2 single beds per room, chest of drawers, closets) – 2nd floor is dorm style and includes a small seating area; 2 bathrooms (tub/showers); kitchen has dishwasher and disposal, toaster, toaster oven, coffee pot, electric can opener and microwave; dining room has table w. 4 chairs; living room has sectional couch, TV, VCR, computer/printer (Internet cable connection); utility room includes washer and dryer.
