The Rural Health Education Partnerships at GraftonCity Hospital
maintains a house for students who are performing rotations in
Taylor, Marion, Preston and Harrison Counties. The house is located
in Grafton.
We
provide bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels, dishes, pots, pans,
silverware, a microwave oven, stove, coffee pot, refrigerator,
cable television, and telephone. Students are responsible for
all long distance phone charges.
The
house will accommodate four people comfortably and is located
within walking distance of banks, laundromats, and grocery stores.
A single car garage is also provided. Depending on the number
of students utilizing the RHEP house, arrangements may be available
for pets (dogs or cats only, please.)
The
Learning Resource Center
The
Learning Resource Center at Grafton City Hospital features internet-capable,
multi-media computers for student use. Word processing and reference
software also are available. The LRC houses the hospitalŐs medical
library, which consists of numerous reference texts and videotapes.
A copying machine is available, as are a satellite TV system and
VCR for viewing both live and pre-recorded educational programming.
A slide projector and overhead projector are available for presentations.
