Housing
in Calhoun County is located at 321 Main St. in Grantsville. It
is a one story newly renovated house that has two bedrooms, a
living room, a bathroom, kitchen and a laundry room with washer
and dryer. The bedrooms have two twin beds allowing us to house
4 students there comfortably. The kitchen is furnished with all
the necessities (dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and dishtowels),
a microwave and a dishwasher. The living room is furnished with
a TV and VCR. We provide cable and telephone (all long distance
calls MUST be billed to the student's calling card) We do not
provide any toiletries or personal care items.
Housing
is located 4 blocks from the hospital where meals are free if
desired. The apartment consists of living room, kitchen, two bedrooms,
bathroom, and basement. One bedroom has twin beds and the other
has 1 double bed. The kitchen offers a microwave and toaster.
We furnish pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and dish towels. There
is a washer/dryer in the basement. In the living room is a TV/VCR
with cable provided. Linens are provided by Sistersville General
Hospital. The hospital also provides cleaning service once a week
if you desire. We do not provide any toiletries or personal use
items.
There
are e-machines in both houses with internet connections. These
living quarters are cleaned once a month and smoking is prohibited
in both.

The
Learning Resource Center
The Learning Resource Center is designed to allow
the student to study and research problems. Located in the RHEP
office on Main Street within walking distance to all participating
agencies in Calhoun County, the LRC consists of computers that
have access to the libraries of major universities in West Virginia,
printers, a medical library, and video equipment. Students also
have access to a fax machine, copier, overhead projector, and
a slide projector.
In
addition there is a small LRC in our subsite in Ellenboro, and
a computer with internet access at Sistersville General Hospital.
