All students will be assigned a preceptor. The preceptor will determine, in coordination with the student and the rotation objectives, the hours the student is expected to work. The preceptor will determine the level of student involvement in patient care and will advise the site coordinator of the time available for community enrichment activities.

The consortium strongly encourages the student to contact the site coordinator to express special interests for the purposes of scheduling mutually beneficial community activities.
