From Huntington/ Charleston:
There are two
methods of traveling to Fort Gay from I-64. OneisTolsia
Highway in WV (52 South) and the other is 23 South in Kentucky.
The recommended route is 23 South in Kentucky because it is four
lanes versus 52 South which is two lanes. Both routes are heavily
traveled by coal trucks and caution should be used.
A)
Tolsia Highway: I-64 West to exit 1 (Kenova-Ceredo exit). Follow
signs to 52 South. Continue on 52 South to 37 West approximately
25 minutes. 37 West goes through the town of Fort Gay (SPEED LIMIT
IS STRICTLY ENFORCED IN TOWN). Fort Gay Family Health Center is
on the right just past the Louisa Bridge.
B)
Route 23: I-64 West to the Louisa/Ashland Exit (first exit in
Kentucky and next exit after Kenova-Ceredo). Turn left onto 23
South. Continue on 23 South approximately 25 minutes to the Sunoco
Station and turn left at the light. (This is easily recognizable
because it looks like a castle). You will then be on Rt.3. Continue
on Rt.3 to the second stop light. Turn left into downtown Louisa
over the bridge into WV, cross the railroad tracks and turn left.
Fort Gay Family Health Center is on your right.
From
Morgantown: Follow I-79 South to Charleston, then
follow I-64 West to Huntington. Follow directions above.
