Introductions were made.
April said that the retreat recommendations had gone out to the WVRHEP committees and site coordinators for feedback. Comments will be reviewed at the next meeting.
There will be several student panel members graduating this month and several new members will be appointed. The new chairman of the committee is Billie Hall, a medical student from WVSOM. She will be taking over the chairmanship of the committee as Marcus is graduating and will be moving on to residency.
April announced that two community members (Dennis McCutcheon and Lisa Hileman) and two students (Marcus Speaker and Frankie Tomblin) presented a session on WVRHEP at the Community Campus Parnerships for Health Conference May 4-8 in San Antonio Texas. The session was very well received.
