Meeting Minutes
In attendance: Carla See, Richard Meckstroth, Shannon Bell, Bob Walker, Henry Taylor, Dennis McCutcheon, April Vestal, Hilda Heady, Kathryn Greenlief, Patti Crawford, Rosemarie Cannareella.

We have received feedback from the Visions Workgroup document from almost everyone. Still need final approval from the Faculty Development Committee for their statements and may need some more information from the Schools Committee. This is a 19-page document and will need condensed before it goes to the Advisory Panel. April will give Derrick an updated version of the document to post on the web. It was suggested that representatives from the other committees meet with CCOC members and develop an executive summary of the Visions document. Henry proposed to have each committee provide an annual report based on the framework of the Visions document.
April distributed a draft policy (Minimal Components of IDS/Interdisciplinary Experiences) that is being looked at by other committees. The Faculty Development Committee is going to look at developing ways to carry out this policy. This policy gives consortia more flexibility with their Interdisciplinary Sessions. It was suggested that the Attendance Policy also needs looked at. Henry suggested that there should be competencies that say what is expected; then a process for how alternatives will be approach. Rosie invited committee members to come to the OSCD meeting at the Faculty Development Conference to further discuss this policy.
