NEXT STEPS

1. Develop procedures of IDS sessions (Dan and Bob) IN PROGRESS
2. Development of a working committee to develop a web site with guidelines about IDS and "tips and tricks" on how to incorporate disciples DONE (sub-committee members:  Michelle, Dan, Jill Cochran, Mark Allen)
3. April will pull suggestions from FD minutes and give to Bill Carlton and Hilda in an email. DONE
4. April and Rosie to contact Ralph Utzman about serving on committee.  DONE
5. Rosie to write letters to Sarah McCarty (MU), Don Fidler (WVU), and Bob Foster about whether they are still interested in participating on the committee.  She will also send letters to new potential members. DONE
6. April will check with Canaan about the 2001 conference and get prices  DONE
7. Kathryn to send email to site coordinators asking for names of excellent teachers within their consortium to be sent to Dan and Rosie in preparation for the "My Favorite Teaching Strategies" session INCOMPLETE
8. Rosie, Dan and April to make decision on the place of the 2001 conference DONE
9. April will get a draft of the timeline for the conference INCOMPLETE

The schedule for FDD 2001 was discussed.  It was decided to go with Canaan Valley Resort for the conference for the dates of September 14-16, 2001.  Neither WVU or Marshall have a home ballgame on this weekend.  We will be teaming up the WVU Geriatric Education Center and Sara Jane Gainor.  They will be doing sessions on Sunday.  Our conference tentative schedule is below.  OSCD Training will be held the morning of September 14.  Schedule and topics to be discussed after Rosie and Dan get back results from the survey they are doing with them.
