Jodie presented
the new format for the consortia bar charts representing the SERFE data (all
consortia represented one the same chart).
She asked Dalena to get feedback from site coordinators at their meeting
the next day.
Jodie Jackson
informed the Evaluation Committee that Version 3 of TRACKER was up and running
as of
Jodie informed
the Evaluation Committee that the revision to Question #2 of the SERFE (to add
“Participation in a web-based Interdisciplinary case study on SOLE” as one of
the IDS options to evaluate) was implemented
Ken Shannon, MD, informed the group that he will be
presenting on Factors Promoting
Participation as Rural Medical Preceptors at the SGEA (Southern Group for
Educational Affairs) in the 3rd week of April in
Hilda suggested that Jodie initiate the writing of an
RHEP evaluation policy. RHEP has never
had such a policy. The policy would
cover all aspects of evaluation, including suggested strategies for increasing
the SERFE response rate. She suggested
that the policy be emailed to site coordinators and AHEC directors (and
possibly, the Evaluation Committee) in advance before being brought to the June
or September Evaluation Committee and Advisory Panel.
Dalena Riggs inquired about the faculty development
survey, specifically, how often it was implemented and when it would next be
sent out. She said that sending out the
surveys in June did not work well for her nursing faculty – that they weren’t
at their workplace during the summer to receive the
survey. Jodie explained that this task
had never been under the purview of the Evaluation Committee – that it was a
task handled by the Faculty Development Committee and spearheaded by Helen
Baker of WVSOM. Jodie will ask April
Vestal about the plans for this.
