III. Physical Therapy and Social Work Mr. Hanlon presented at the last Joint Governing Committee meeting the issue of physical therapy. Hilda Heady added that she feels social work can help students develop objectives at the site. IV. Budget Dr. Savory stated that the budget information she received from the disciplines had to be modified. She mentioned that $200,000 can be spent on faculty development and some money is set aside for the different sites as they are added into the program. V. Miscellaneous Dr. Savory invites the committee to frame problems so that we can ask people to work on problems outside of this committee. Do not hesitate to bring up what you feel are conflicts relative to the sub-groups (Kellogg, Rural Health Initiative, HETC). Dr. Savory stated that she will write a letter to Dr. Weston concerning this issue. Arnie Hasson and Jan Fox will give to the committee a LRC report - the KGCC is concerned that all the programs be compatible. The disciplines are to identify their students as plans are finalized. Dr. Savory is also to send Dr. Weston a letter concerning contractual issues with the field professors. Linda M. Savory, M.D. LMS/dm
